Faction Warfare should become a viable alternative for corps looking for serious battles, a makeshift CB system of sorts. I'm soliciting feedback from the community on how to utilize it better. My hope is to make qsyncing faction warfare a viable alternative to PC for those disappointed in the current iteration of PC and/or unable to participate for other reasons.
My idea is to facilitate better organization of people looking to fight against other organized competition. Through the use of a website (perhaps enjin) prospective corps would either chat up other corps for a specific fight , or simply post availability times on a calendar and wait for notifications if a challenge is received. The moderators of the site could be responsible for accumulating stats concerning wins/losses.
I admit it'd be challenging to implement this idea given that CCP hasn't provided a way for teams to deploy, only squads. I have had success qsyncing full teams into matches, however they take a long time to get into. It's inefficient for teams looking to grind sp (especially once capped) through faction warfare because of the time investment trying to get all 16 people to successfully qsync and the time associated simply with entering a faction warfare battle when compared to an instant battle.
TL;DR What if I told you we should make a website dedicated to making faction warfare a viable alternative to PC where you wouldn't lagfest or have to pay big bucks for a minuscule/irrelevant reward for an organized donnybrook?

Seeing as this seems like more work than the more feasible idea to turn the 24 district planet into fight club with 12 established corps and 12 growing corps I will relegate this idea to the thread and terminate implementation indefinitely. But thanks for the support guys! |
